The first step in wine cellar management is organizing the wine cellar. Crushed Consulting LLC’s first priority is understanding a client’s wine collection consumption or investment preferences. Then, we begin organizing the collection based on those preferences, as well as arranging the wines by geographic origin, producer, vintage, and other relevant factors. The cellar organization process draws on over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, using the fundamentals of inventory control and valuation to provide a proper, logical wine cellar structure. The use of inventory locations, wine bottle tags, and barcodes enable the wine inventory to be entered into one of a variety of databases. This allows for ease of tracking and enjoyment of the wine collection.
